What's up everybody!
I'm sticking with this problem...I usually sample for long loops or parts, then I trim the "little bits" (kick, snare, etc.) I'm looking for and save'em with different names..well, is there a way to save just the single kick (for example) and delete entirely the rest of the sample? I mean while I'm saving the kick, also the rest of the sample get saved, and that means getting memory filled with "unused secs"...hope you guys get what I mean. Maybe that's a silly Q, but I can't find a way.
How can I do this??
Is there some function into the trim mode or something?
Thanks

why not just trim everything else out exept the kick that you need, hit edit and discard everything else then save the kick?

or set zones of the full loop, if the sample has a kick set 3 zones, 1 is before the kick, 2 is the kick, and 3 is after the kick. now only save the 2nd zone (the kick)

or chop them into zones and only program the one then hit purge?
