a thread I found using Search, but a guy mentioned his way of doing:

+You should just record the audio into your comp from the stereo outs, but that resample way will work also, but sample time will be a conflict.+

And I have no idea how to do that...

I've got a 16 bar song, (four 4-bar sequences) that I would like to put on my computer so that I can listen to it on iTunes n stuff. I've got no way of knowing how.

While I'm waiting for an answer I'll continue to try and find the type of cord and adapter because I'm pretty sure it'll need a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter as well.

ThankS!

Matter fact, I think I may have found the type of cable(above link) I need to connect the 500 and computer, but exactly what type of adapter would I need to fit on the red and white plugs for them to fit into the 500?

aight Lamp! Thanks, Im pretty sure it's the cable in the last picture you posted. All I need to do now is go to RadioShack and pick up 2 adapters to put on the red and white cables and I'll be all set and within the next couple days I should have a little "Newb" demo up for you all to hear if you want.

Also Lamp, I appreciate the help for Song Mode. I FINALLY GOT IT DOWN!

(on 2nd thought, I may add a Midi track to the beat I'm doin if I get my MicroKorg in this week.... 8) )

Thanks!

If you record the new midi track on mpc, make it on a track that is not used on any other sequence in the song. After recording the midi performance, copy that track the FIRST seq you use in song mode. Cause remember the whole song will play with the track settings of songmodes FIRST seq. Make sure ALL seqs in that song have that SAME track. SAME TRACKS follow through the whole song. ie, trk1/kik will be trk1/kck for EVERY seq in the song.
