In the near future I’m planning on stripping down my studio. This involves getting rid of my 24 channel analog board. I wanna get a computer daw with a firewire audio interface. To save the analog ins for other pieces of equipment I’d like to connect the MPC via its ADAT outs.
Well, the MPC is 16/44.1 and I wanna record at 24/48 or 24/96. Would I have to track out the MPC at 16/44.1 and resample the tracks afterwards or are there practical ways of doing resampling in real-time while tracking?!?! I don’t really have an idea how it is done cause I don’t run a computer daw at the moment.
Anyone tracking the MPC digitally do a DAW? Hints are well appreciated!
