I mainly ask this because when you mute something realtime that has effects to it. you get the tail of your effect when you mute it and it changes depending on what time you tap it so you get a more real feel to it. instead of going through cuting shit at the same points every time.

maybe i can use the faders knobs assign them to levels? and use them let me try that shit im a genious it prolly wont work but i'll try it real quick sorry,if this works for wasting time but Hold ON........oh yeah you cant cuz in q link mode you cant assign them to be used for differnt tracks only the specific track your working on. **** me

I developed bad habits on the MPC because I didnt know what I was doing back in those days. I started on the original 60. One, I was sequencing in double time. People used to tell me I was wrong. Until they found out that was a trick big producers were doing. THE OTHER WAS USING A GHOST PAD TO MUTE ANY OTHER PAD. Try it out it might work for you.
