Hi MPC headz,

Is it possible to select a range of a long sample faster? Sometimes I have to scroll the data wheel many times to get the desired length of the sample
If yes, how do you do it? What is the trick or command? :(

Yeah there is a way to scrub through ur samples faster....

Open up ur sample in trim mode, highlight the start or end time and then hold shift and press left arrow... now instead of moving 1 tick at a time, it'll move 10, if you hit the left arrow twice it'll move by the hundred etc etc

That's on the 2000xl btw .... dunno if its different on the 5000

Thanx Grimlock,

I'll try it later

You could also use the sliders... if you high light with the cursor the start point and move the left most slider you will be able to select areas way faster than using the scroll wheel... the end point can also be moved around with the second slider form left to right.
