Has any one found the panel lights to be a little tooo bright especially the [WINDOW] light.
I haven’t had time to go through the manual but is there any way to adjust the panel lights
Intensity. I can put a piece of black tape over it, however it would be nice to be able to adjust it as a preset user setting. The [window] light is so bright it lights up the pads so you can see them better in the dark when the display screen is laying flat, but if you are hovering over the machine for some time say editing that bright [Window] light can be annoying. If it is adjustable then never mind, but if not I see another software change. Maybe I’m too picky.

jesus man there's a dedicated knob where you can change the brightness of the screen...there's not too much knobs on the MPC so should'nt be that hard to find out which one...

I know what you mean and yes it is bright as hell, but I can live with it. I like making beats at night with the lights down and it's funny how the glare of the light keeps you from seeing the function text next to the pads when selecting different functions. If it was on a white mpc5k like the mpc4k, then it will probably help to see things. I think it's the black finish.

...haha, jesh, you're far too picky, i'm afraid...

but you can buy colours for painting on glass....pick a blue one and a little brush and help yourself....no dirty hands and a sexy dark blue glow on the window button....
