what I mostly hear is absolutely no advertisement for MPC, beat from clip above you could make as well in MPC500...but yeah the 5000 looks far 'more impressive'
Agreed! - but I don't think that the blame falls on the guys in the videos. Two things stuck out in watching the demos under the Cashmere heading.
1. Except for Martin , they are all in the same studio taking turns in front of the camera.
2. None of them had used the 5000 before that demo shoot. Martin and Thayod actually say so on camera. Muggs was not only unfamiliar but seemed pretty disinterested .
If AKAI wants the 5000 to shine they should give it to someone that can put together a killer demo that shows off the units capabilities to the fullest- not throw the machine in front MPC users that have no idea of what the machine is about.
Compare any 5000 demo with the APC-40 demos. Killer demos for this are the reason Live! user are amped.
This is what a product performance demo should look like. This is what moves units off the shelves. Even if you don't use Live! , a demo like this could have many thinking that they should be.

Rather than depend on big names , a more effective strategy would be to give one to some like patr00 and have him shoot a film on it. That would be much more credible and effecive than the Cashmere videos could ever be. IMO
