hooking up my 5k to logic with usb?

im trying to make my 5k record directly into logic. I have a usb cable but no midi. Ive checked out other posts similar to my problem but the ones i found say i need a midi. can someone help me out?

You don`t expect to record through usb, do you? You can`t so do as others said and get audio in and out cables and midi to sync the two. For further info check out the newbie bible and midi basics.
