Input Thru Latency

Is it just me, or is there a slight latency when running tracks throught the input? It seems to me that it is maybe 200ms or so. Not that much, but enough to make it useless except for sampling.

Anyone else?

are you going directly into the MPC or through any other audio interfaces? How many midi connections if you are using offboard gear?

I have an Electribe EMX-1 plugged right into the inputs on the MPC. MIDI Out of the MPC is hooked to the MIDI IN on the EMX. I am using MIDI Clock to sync the two, with the MPC as master.

When I connect them like this and seqence a 1/4 kick on both, the EMX lags behind the MPC enough to flam very noticeably. If I send the output of the EMX to my mixer along with the MPC instead (no computer involved) the flam goes away and the sync is tight.
