MPC5000 Midi Question

I just recently updated the OS to 2.0, When I sync to Pro tools the tempo jumps back and forth ( i.e 91 -92 - 93 - 91) during playback. Has anybody else experienced this problem? Thx for your help in advance!

I havent seen that happen. Although i use it with logic. Have you taken a look at the synch doc for protools and mpc 5000 at akai's site?

Yes, I've used the link before. I have also used with logic and it worked fine. maybe i was trying to use MTC instead of beat clock.

Anyway, This is the first MPC I have owned, and Im starting to hate the thing, but it was a gift so i thought i give it shot. I should just stick to my Logic, Reason, & Pro tools work flow! I was excited about using the MPC for drums and tracking them through my API pre's. But this midi sync issue aint workin for me!

maybe ill just trade for MPC2500, I've used one of those and liked it.

i have had the same problem syncing to protools useing midi clock on an mpc 5000 . AKAI PRO hasent returned my email as of yet.Has anyone resolved this issue yet? Any help would be much appreciated.
