well I agree, I have to say that akai could use some shitting on... I feel bad for the guys that grabbed a new 5k and got screwed. (not to say everyone has issues) but you know at first how it didn't work properly, shit loads of featured were missing... then finally they drop a new OS but for some it was still no cigar. Man, that sucks... I think they should simply make a solid OS that works every **** time... that is the biggest feature of the 2000xl. it may have only 32mb of ram... you may have to wait 3 seconds to see the waveform in trim mode... you may have to add expansions to get all the features... but it always works and it is reliable and solidly built.

well the 5000 was hated on from the start here on the forums... so that's nothing new... but at least AKAI are an actual brand that has released non-fictional hardware in the past unlike these fvckin clowns that insist on spamming us and shoving their fantasy gear specs at us... we all know that piece of gear won't become a reality unless they get some money together to pay for manufacturing costs... hence why they try and hype their crap here and trick people into pre-ordering something that will never come out because they're a joke of a company. you don't see us going on their forums talking about how much better the MPC is compared to the kangz' buggy piece of shit virtual beat software... so why do they feel the need to come on our forums and shit on us?... BK have released nothing other than a buggy program which blows, so i don't know where they get off on talking about AKAI's product flaws...

yeah when I first thought about the beat thang idea.. I was like okay, the name is shit but lets see what is going on. I dont know them and never heard of them so I had no idea who they were or maybe if they were teamed with a manufacturing company or something... I gave the benefit of the doubt to the idea of them putting out a piece of hardware. cool... I thought they might have been asking for beta testing on the unit and they were looking for various user types but it turns out they were only looking for people to sell their product on some pyramid shit. not cool. then they talked a whole bunch of shit instead of working on the product... for example making diss tracks, trying to clown people here, making total unprofessional looking asses out of themselves... and what do they do? launch a ASR-X looking imitation battery 3, with less specs, bugs to compensate for the less specs... and a sequencer like we all aren't already running things of that nature as VST pluggins already... but really IMO it was just a disguise for a huge sound and sample library which from what I heard is the only thing people dont have a lot to complain about... you cant really have bugs with .wav files.

now, I dont hate the kangs, and I hope they some day get to release a machine. But over a year later... probably 2 years later after they first started going BG beats on the forum... and we still have no sign of the only thing we care about... the hardware machine... (ie: not the **** wannabe i-pad app, software that we already have hundreds of properly working variants of except they are simply VST pluggins which is more sensible on a computer)

silence is golden... actions speak louder then words.... and if the hardware drops and if it winds up being good and works properly... and doesn't costs 5000 dollars..... then that is a real substantial thing that deserves some credit... something that doesn't dry up on a hot day like vapour.
