MPC5000 bootup noise

Whatsup guys,

just got my MPC5000 that i've bought via ebay. When i start my mpc5000 it makes some noise while loading up.
Just wanna check if this is regular?

ps. it also didn't came with any DVD or software..is this a problem?

What kind of noise?

When booting up the two things you here are the fan and the HD. Disconnect the HD and see what happens.

ask yourself that question...

some ppl will use the USB so there is no need for DVD.

Also just and FYI, the dvd drive is sold separately as an option.

No problem.

I replaced mine with a SSD. Soon i'm going to try and replace the fan just for the fun of it.

The dvd/cd is something to consider for sampling your old cd's.

I ment the DVD that comes with the MPC acutally, not the DVD player
Found out that the DVD contains just plain tutorials, thought it contained some drivers or something important
