Hey guys, some of you already know I have been having some weird issues with my MPC 5k. I bought this brand new from Guitar Center a few weeks back. Within the past few weeks, sometimes I will record in a patter, say a hi hat, do straight 16 notes with varying velocity, and then when it loops back into overdub mode and I am hearing the recording back, 3 or 4 notes will randomly be missing. Now I kept racking this up to user error, but how many times can I convince myself of this. This morning, this kept happening over and over and over. I turned the unit of and on, and it stopped. Last night I turned on the unit, loaded a project, and no sound was coming out of the headphones. Went into program mode and hit pads, and samples are assigned to the pads, but no sound. So I went into load mode, previewed some .wav files, and they played without issue. Though, when going back to 'main', and playing the pads, no sound (remember I had just turned on the unit, so no settings were messed with). Again I shut the unit off and turned it back on, and magically this issue went away. Throughout all these issues I have been experiencing, the screen on the 5k has been flickering. Not all the way off and on, but quick flickers. This was happening constantly this morning, I don't know what to do here. And words of wizdom would be really appreciated.
