here's the deal, when constructing my songs, i can either make a zillion different sequences, and play them in the order i see fit in song mode. (which takes a rediculously long time because of how complex my isht is)

"or" i can simply always resample every single part/loop i create, ...(but the probablem with this is, even though i'm resampling 'internally' in the MPC, the samples are always so much quieter, it bugs the heck out of me and i don't like it, ...its 'too' quiet)

"or" ...if the MPC would let me, i can make 16-32 bars of all the parts i would need, ..and i can totally "play" the song structure through track mute. ...but of course the song will be "much" longer than 16 or 32 bars, ....and its just not even fun if i have to keep copying the first 16-32 bars over and over and over again. ....WHY CAN'T I JUST MAKE A SONG THROUGH TRACK MUTE AND IT BE EASY?!??

they say "Ableton LIVE is "LIVE"", ....but "playing" my MPC "LIVE" in "REAL TIME" is "MUCH" more 'live' than Ableton could ever be.

any help?

well if the problem is the volume just make sure your master level is at 0 and not -16 or -12... you can find this in the "other" section.

that way it will always be at the same volume.

Suggestions:

1. Using song mode is not difficult at all...even with "complex" songs. The structure of a typical song contains: Intro, Verse, Bridge, Chorus, Outro, Break, Solo, etc. You can make a seperate sequence for each of these using any number of bars you choose. Then you just go into Song Mode and arrange this parts into a complete song.

or

2. Simply use the MPC in a linear fashion by turning off the LOOP. Record your drums....record your piano...record your bass...record your guitar...record your strings, etc on seperate tracks.

or

3. Use Record Track Mutes function using the sequences created in suggestion #1.
