MPC5000 Miodi sync Help w/ Cubase sx

So I had my mpc and cubase SX locked for a while but for some reason things are not locked anymore. I was able to record my audio into cubase sx 8 channels at a time via ADAT and for some reason now it's not synced anymore, and I am breaking my head as to why that is.

Alright so I have my mpc:

-set as master coming out of midi D
-Mode: midi time code
-frame rate: 25

Sync In is Off.

Cubase Sx is:



What am I doing wrong?

Every bar of my mpc is off by 1.880 bars in cubase Sx as you can see from the screenshot. In cubase SX I am at bar 1.88 (as shown on screenshot) while on the mpc I am on bar 1.00.

Someone has to have the 5000 synced to SX out there... does it even look right?

I have the MPC 5000 and cubase.. but i havent synced it together. I have read about the delays when u record , so thats why i havent done it pluss i dont even know how to do it.

did u try on the steinbergusers.com forums or the official cubase forums?

How about the motifator.com forums? (yes its run by yamaha, but there is a wealth of info over there)... look up a guy over there called synthgeek. He used to have the 4000. he was the deciding factor in my purchase of the xs8.

I will be using the 5k with xs8 and mLAN as the interface. No mixers or other gear needed

Is MMC ON? If you are using MTC then the tempo in Cubase must match your sequence. Is it not starting at all or is it just out of sync?

Go to devices in Cubase and see if there's multiple driver options to select for your Master ASIO driver. If my audio goes out or the program freezes, this is the first place I'd check to correct it.

Plus just as a reminder, each driver configuration requires it to be setup properly in order for it to function correctly.

sorry for the delay work is killing me. so today I tried a different project that I had actually synced successfully and the syncing was still working there. So I'm thinking I am just going to restart my project again and check if it syncs beforehand, hopefully it will.

or maybe just use the one that is synced as a template for future projects...
