Yeah that little phatty sounds nice. He says he often uses external synths rather than the on board 5k ones. He has a nice feel and sound especially for sample based production. And even though he isn`t using the full potential of the 5k he sure has a good ear and mastery of his style. Big Props for this. 8)

I've been spending a bit of time playing with the 5K's internal VA Synth and I've gotta say it's really great to have that feature on our new flagship MPC.

Of course, it's never gonna replace all your external synths, but it's nice to have the option of building a complete groove using a combination of the 5K's sample engine and VA synth engine. Also, using the 12 Q-links to give you instant control of the synth's parameters for realtime program editing - thats really cool.

Nice one AKAI - Loving the 5K!.

It's great to see some 5K vids like this starting to appear - I'm sure there's gonna be LOTs more coming.
