First Gig with MPC5000

This is my first post, so first of all: Hi!! Been sneaking around the forum without registration for a couple of times and I found some really helpful posts here. Thanks for that!!

Well, I am doin the liveplay with my MPC for some years now, but just had my first (official) gig last month on a jam in Hannover, Germany. I had a lot of fun and i think the audience too

There are 3 lil clips showing some parts of my set and I thought, maybe I should post it here to get some feedback.

Fantastic stuff - nice to see someone doing something great with the MPC5000, we kind of get used to people just moaning about the bugs and forgetting you can still do some amazing music on it

The 5k has its issues I admit, but I get along with it. Like many others I am hoping for OS 3 from Akai - yeah yeah.... dreams. haha

Sample cycle is really cool, wish JJ would implement it for the 2500 and the 1000.

But whatever:

We gotta work with what we have and make the best out of it.

It's there is OS XL, just implemented differently. Instead of cycling pads layers, you can assign a cycle of pads, either randomly or in order. So pad A1 could be set to cycle through A4, A5, A6 etc.
