I can understand katz dreaming about a Linn Drum II. I guess it is because their current MPC that is sitting in a corner collecting dust, doesn't inspire them to create good music. So dust off that old MPC and sell it on eBay. Pick up an MPC 5000 and join the fun

I don' believe it. That things got so many bugs. If you didn't make 100K beats on a 2500 or 4000, you still won't with 5000.

Polo Da Don, Just Blaze, & Brian Michael Cox use a 4000. Lil Jon & Dr. Dre use a 3000. Busta Rhymes ain't producing nothing with a 5000. Another sales pitch. 4000s, 3000s, and 60s are alive and well. Still no threat!

Really, let us enjoy our new toy and stop crying at your units graves in OUR FORUM! This is supposed to be a place for exchange of 5000 users! But most of the time I read things like "MPC 4k, king forever!" But the subtext is more like: "You cheated on the king of kings. Your disloyal and too progressive for me! So now I'm gonna make your live a living hell!"
