Well I appreciate you applauding the efforts, but adding a picture and trying put off people isnt helping out. So either contribute or not its upto you.
Akai is the brand, whether backed by Numark or not. They will take heed if people are mature enough to put together some backing to all of the talk on this forum about the problems on the MPC 5000.
Its time to iron out the comments and put them into a well define list and then make this visible to Akai.
Why are they going to fix things that are not obvious not backed up. I work for a software company, and most bugs, issues need to be logged with steps on how to re-produce, so how about explaining how to re-produce the issue and give a description of the fault. This will give them something to work on.
Lets be grown up about this, and make a difference, who knows in 6 months we might have a new OS.
