any regrets????

Just read this thread and I have to say it's helping me decide to get or not to get the 5000. It's time to retire my Yamaha RS7000 and step it up. I'm used to having the built-in synth with the RS so I'm leaning towards the 5K because of the all-in-one capabilities... Thanks for your input!

Fred, probebly just the random crashes etc. The two erros i had recently Akai hadnt heard of before. im yet to get solid hours of use out of it yet to judge myself whether there are niggly crashes.

I'd be careful saying that on these forums some people seem to get so offended when anyone mentions a crash on their 5000.

No, he said he regretted paying full retail. That means he would have been quite happy paying a discount.

Konc3pt is a troll. Doesn't own a 5000 because he can't! He really want to but he can't. That's why he's hating on the 5000.

I got the same kind of responses when I posted my problems up on here.

I want a new car- wouldnt see the point of going to a car forum and slgging off cars haha. That wouldnt get me anywhere. If i had problems with the engine after buying a new car i could see the benefit of posting them up on a forum.

It's not so much that it's not true it's that he hasn't even owned one so he's just talking sh*t.

Originally there were lots of people on here talking about 5ks who didn't own them.
They eventually stopped when they realized that real 5k owners could tell they didn't own one.
Unfortunately this is also the reason why the people from Akai gave up and moved on, thus killing our voice to Akai.
