Jahrome bought an expensive drummachine and now you got to work for him :D
Crazy, isn´t it?
What a blowhard!

That doesn't make a bit of sense! haha. I work for Akai, not anyone else. I am here to talk about the 5000, but I guess people can't not be hostile on this board, It's reputation precedes it.

Guys. I came in peace to be of help to the people using the machine. I simply replied to 5000 issues, and got an attitude back with people demanding who I am, tell me off, becuase they didn't like the answers. Why can't things ever just stay on topic? This truly is a hostile place. You guys ran another Akai employee off.....good job.

Outa Here.

oh well..tell akai to **** off for me while you're @ it pimpin' :D

Cmon back now you got to have tougher skin than that!!!! Just answer some reasonable questions if someone gets irritate or crazy just contact us mods myself or distortkeno and we will shut those twebs down with ackrite.

It is nice to know an akai rep was still on the board. Where is SCD he was very informative too. 8)

sometimes i wonder whether it's the occasional attitude that drives these folks away, or if they just get asked questions about their company or products that make them head for the hills....

What sense does this make? It is really shameful because that was really uncalled for. That's a small example of what's wrong with the world today. We need to stay on course and give each other proper respect and stop getting too egotistical.

I'm not taking sides with anybody. Just on the outside looking in and calling it like I see it. And you got to agree that that wasn't right. Let's show better respect because "RESPECT" is one of the great attributes that keep this whole world at peace.

waxing global, are we? don't worry about it, it's not that serious
thicker skin for everyone!

as an outsider looking in, be sure to peek into every room! Respect St. is still two ways despite recent changes in city planning.

like i said, i'm not sure if it's the occasional "poor textual communicator with an ax to grind" that's bugging these folks so much -- or actual legitimate questions or comments regarding Akai/the MPC5000. after all, look what happened to the bug report thread, which was (at kidnapping) 80% good, important information until someone named a name and POOF, kevin spacey.
