yes the 4k is in the picture... but is that really his studio? I think he happened to be in a rented studio session and just took a quick pose with the camera. He prolly uses reason at home...

But like I said, Even if he does own that stuff; all that expensive gear and all you got to show is your hatred for a machine you don't even own?!

These forums are getting worse than Future producers...

actually. that pic was requested when some catz said he didnt own that shit. someone made a smart ass comment like " if thats your pad then put a pillow on the 3000 and take a pic with you in it." so he did. thats bomb beats studio. and as for the 5000. bugs or not. its not for me. doesnt have the connectivity i need. the 4k does. other than that i dont care one way or the other

That 'single' pillow on the 3000 really does prove it then....lol

Anyway enough 'pillow-talk'...lol :D I would hope no one would be sad enough to fake a studio pic...lol Actually, katz got a nice setup. Good job dude.

But, studio monitors positioned behind your screens is a no no! reflections will affect your accuracy.

If you read the post that the picture came from you would understand. But, since you didn't and are talking sh%t, it makes you look stupid. You haven't seen nothing.
Believe me MPC's do sound different. It's what is inside them. I will say that the 5000 sounds good with the stock sounds. But, it is the samples, not the machine. I got a copy of all the sample loaded into my 4000. It sounds just as good. Remember, Akai didn't create those sounds. A third party company did.
Just copped a 60II and a 2000. So, I've tested the samples.

I mainly do my own thing. I do rent it out. But network with other studios that my friends have.I'm set up to record a live band; from vocals, guitars to drums.

Props Bomb! That is one nice setup...I'd feel like Capt. Kirk on the starship enterprise sitting in the cockpit or something! Good lookin'

^^^^Nothing wrong with giving the man props for his setup. ^^^
Double " ??? "! He's got a long list of gear there and I give him kudos on that...

From what I've seen so far, bombeats setup usually brings on hate in one form or fashion, but not all the time. Yes, he's got ish a lot of us would love to have in our personal setups.

And if a lot of katz got started collecting gear ten years or so ago as opposed to two or three or whatever, I'm sure they'd have a fair amount of stuff themselves too.
