Are Q-Link setups stored in a track? In a sequence?

I'm not seeing what the actual association is in the MPC5000 manual... I think they're per track, but can anyone confirm?

Seems like they should be something that could be saved by themselves.

You need to save Entire Memory.

Between Projects? Well, I guess I would make some project templates of various Q link setups and save them each as entire memory. I'm big on templates. Or copy the project folder.

I'm just thinking, Q-Link configs should really be at the track level, and should have their own file. That way, each of my external devices can have it's own Q-Link config...

I would ask Akai support this question directly and report the answers back here.

The Q-Link information is saved on the MPC 4000 in the "Mulit". It's got to be saved somewhere in
the MPC 5000. I'm guessing Akai should be able to provide the definitive answer on this one.
