MPC 5000 won´t launch bootloader HELP!

I was about to upgrade to OS 2 from 1,02 but my mpc won´t launch the bootloader. Does anyone else have this issue?
Pad 2 and 3 seem to work properly. I do everything by the book. But it won´t launch.
Can somebody please help me.

Not pads 2 and 3 homie... Buttons 2 and 3 by the Data Wheel

did you put the bin-file in the rootfolder of a compactflash-card that was formatted with the MPC5K?
