I have a huge collection of sample programs in the akai .akp program format.
all the .akp drum programs load fine.
None of the .akp keygroup programs load correctly.
I have an akai z4 sampler-when I load them into the z4, they play fine.
when i load the same programs into the 5k, they playback at the wrong pitches-
it's all out of wack- for example- i loaded miroslav violins 11VS-soft from miroslav string ensembles 2.0-
into both z4 and 5k- in order for 5k to play back pitches correctly,I had to redo the pitches for all the keygroups-
going UP the keyboard the keygroups had to be detuned like this: +3/0/-2/-4/-7/-10/-14/-15/-17/-20/-24/-26/-30/-33/-36/ and the 5k wont detune below 36, so the highest keygroup is out ( i spose i could now re-pitch the entire prog?)
anyway-i havent yet tried to figure if other .akp files from other cd's have to be re-pitched with those #S or not-
is anyone else having this issue? I am no scientist so plz go easy
yes-i re-initialized after updating
