"sample select" in trim mode

in trim mode when trying to switch to another sample the sample select page comes up which adds an extra button press. I want to quickly go through samples to edit or assign to a pad like on the 1000, but Everytime it goes to this page and I have to press F4 every time I want to switch samples. Is there any way to turn off this extra step, or is there actually a reason for this page besides seeing more samples at a time which doesnt matter?

I believe its to quickly trim each sample one at a time. before pressing mode program then assigning all sample you have trimmed to the pads. After all assigned to pads then edit them accordingly.

I don't think you can shut this step off.but to get around it quickly press mode program. but I think its quite convenient actually. but then again I never messed with 1000 (yet).
