Autostretch - Some loops do it, some don´t. But why?

1. I´ve loaded a rythm sample into a program and assigned it to a pad - nothing else.
When I change the tempo of the sequence, the sample stretches automatically with the new tempo. Another sample from the same library just stays at it´s own tempo. I didn´t do anything different though.

2. How can I set a sample into "autostretch-mode?"

Where did you get the Rhythym Sample from exactly, because if it was out of Akai's Library, the might have set it up already to be used as a "Patch Phrase"... this is only a possibility if you took it from the Akai Library

But you can set up your new sampe the same way as well... check out "Patch Phrase" in the manual, im not sure what page exactly

But it wasn´t an Akai Library - it was from Mutekki.

Interesting ... so the "patched phrase" information must be part of the .wav file?
