Sub-Bass

Right im sorry if i sound stupid asking this question but i been using the synth of the 5k to make beats recently but i have decided to go back more to sampling dusty jazz shit, anyway ive been having serious trouble trying to make those sub bass basslines that give beats a real punch, i just wondered if there was anyone one that has any good tips for making bass sounds like that?

you better use the 'long' 808 kick from the 808 kit on the ROM.
Some filtering and play it '16 level = tune' and you're better off

or just sample a sinewave from any source (be it hard or software) ..even 1 cycle is enough..loop it and you're set

Dont know what DAW you are using but in Pro tools I use a max bass plugin that brings the fat ass out of bass
