Adat Lightpipe

has anyone used the Adat Lightpipe feature on their MPC5000?
i'm trying to run 8 seperate channels using the Adat Lightpipe
on the MPC5000 thru the Tascam FW1884.... I can only get Stereo.
the only options are for Main Out L&R and Assign Out 1&2... if its not capable
of producing 8 seperate out, thats jacked up.....

You have to go to the mixer or FX and actually assign a pad or fx bus to the assign outs or else you get nothing. By default nothing is routed to the other outputs until you send something to it.

If you mean the adat chan 1+2 parameter on the MPC 5000 on the other page, this simply chooses the first two channels that the adat option will send. You have the otion to have the adat send the stereo main outs plus 6 assign outs. Or you can have it only send assign outs 1-8 without the main out.

another one of my, "DUH", moments!
i knew it wasnt my fw1884, because i use the adat lightpipe from my preamp all of the time.
