whats the Moniter on off switch for in the record sample screen used for??

With that switch you determine if you want to have the input signal back on the outputs.

So if you have a CD with samples you are sampling from, it would be handy to hear something -> Monitor: ON

If you send something from your mixing desk or computer, you are probably already monitoring that and you do not want to have that signal back from the MPC -> Monitor: OFF.

yeah because the input in analog was phasing, until i shut monitor off. but it didnt matter cause when i sampled some stuff it recorded normal even when it was phasing. just as it was playing it was phasing so yeah thanks for clearing up man. :mrgreen:
