Arp Automation ???? esp for latch,on/off

Is there a Way to automate the Arp? If i have a long sequence and only want the arp to play for 4 bars in a 16 bar seq. It annoying cause i use the latch allot but becase of this it contiunes to play the last not played until the SEq start over...
