Ok i ran out of Seq mem. How to i delet other Sequences ?

I cut up a bunch of my other seq but still the MPC 5000 says i cant copy a Seq cause im out of Mem. I tried Purge but that only works for samples

any ideas?

is it because you have too many sequences or too much going in a sequence - or both???

too many sequences = group them into songs

too much stuff going on = get efficient with your programming. the ram in these guys is beyond what i would ever need - and im still only at 64..

it sure is a quirky beast...

to delete a sequence... mode -> sequence... then select delete sequence?

Another thing you could do and I am not sure if this takes less or more memory would be to turn your sequences into a song and then turn that song into a long sequence again. You might or might not get some more memory from there. if I were you I would do this reboot and load the newly created sequence.
