It can read 2500 and 1000 files. The only thing that you have to worry about is the speed of your samples switching.

Good look on the responce Nicks! but could you, or someone explain why the sample speed could change when using mpc2500 files in the mpc5000? and does the same problem exsist when using mpc1000 files in the mpc5000?
