I wonder if anyone knows what's the biggest hit (sales wise) where a MPC5k was used.

who cares??it s not the mpc that makes the hit s the producer behind it...

Sure, everyone knows that -- but that doesn't make it less interesting to know which hits are MPC5k infested.

machines have there sound thats recognized and adopted by producer and becomes expected among music buyers.example sp1200,mpc ect.the 5000 has its own personality and sound im0.i made a differerent rythm with it than my 4ooo.definately sounds different.i get the impression,no proof,that they are used by a lot of hit makers.i was making beats in the shop with one straight away.gotta learn how to use the fx to your advantage.i dont know anything abaout the hip pop world tho. 8)
