Logic Quick Q

For anyone that uses Logic and a 5k...

I can take my sequences off the MPC via the USB (after saving them) and load/play them in Logic right? I know the difference between MIDI and audio...
but will Logic ... be able to reproduce my sequences just using MIDI? Shouldn't be a huge disconnect here, should there? Everything's great on the MPC, learning loads by the day... then I realized I have no real way to do anything with my beats unless I put them in Logic

Use the MPC's sequencer with Logic acting as a sound source for virtual instruments.
