Hi All,

I'm really sorry if this has been covered already but I could not find anything for my scenario!

My buddy has an MPC2000 (very old) still uses it and has a ton of sounds, kits, samples on a zip drive that is connected to his MPC2000, his MPC has no CF drive just a zip connected to it with all his sounds! Question is, what is the easiest way to get his sounds onto my brand new MPC5000?

Any help recommendations, tips, easiest way etc. is appreciated! Very new to MPC world and my boy has got sounds but is only familiar with his 2000 as he has not been able to get another MPC!

Thanks,

I could be wrong on this, but I'm thinking the easiest way would consist of having a scsi card installed in your pc.

You can then have both the zip & mpc being reconized by the comp then do your transfers from there.
