MPC5000 reviews, bug reports and fellow user support on the most recent standalone, hardware MPC from Akai

This might be a dumb question. I just bought the MPC 5000 from someone off of ebay. I heard it had 600 synth presets. I can only find maybe 10 on the hard drive. Is there something I"m supposed to do.

So far I kinda like it. I used to have the 2000 but stopped using it when my screen broke and go into fruity loops and cubase and such.

Now its a bit of a shock going back to hardware. The only complaint i have so far is the effects. I'm used to having virtually unlimited effects.. but to only have 4 is kinda making me rethink things.

Thanks for such an **** response. I figured it out, I did not know the Rom actually stored all that stuff in it.

If you look in the manual it does not say anything about the presets.

If only all the world could be as enlightened as you.

Don't sweat it Mayabong, this is MPC forums. If they didn't smash on noob posts, it just wouldn't be the same. Nothing personal. Give it a couple months, you'll be telling suckas to RTFM too...
