Hello!
I just bought a MPC5000 and I am very happy with it! But there is something that really puzzles me and I would like to ask if someone is willing to look into this and try it on his or her own MPC5000.
If I load a single wav.file from the Loopmasters collection on the hard-drive, for example if I go to the folder with all the snare drums and select a single wav. file from this folder, all the editing functions for that sample (after it has been assigned to one of the 16 pads) work perfectly...filter cutoff, resonance, etc.
But.....if I load the entire snare drum folder instead of just one wav.file not all the editing options are working as they should...I can still adjust cutoff, resonance, level, tune, but NOT the LFO settings, amplitude envelope settings and filter envelope settings....yes, I can adjust them on the display but you will not here any tonal changes as is the case if I just load one single wav.file.
The manual doesn't mention this...so is there someone who has experienced the same problem or is there someone who would like to try this...if it is a software bug...well at least I know then that nothing is wrong with my machine.
Many thanks if you are willing to look into this!!
