Couple of random questions re saving...

Hey people,

Was hoping someone could give me their insite into saving & projects

First thing thats doing my head in - when naming tracks..what the heck is the delete button? I keep ending up with annoying names like beatoject001... Im sure its obvious, but its evaded me for 2 years now!

Also, when saving projects, do most people "save entire memory" after each session or is their a quicker way that dosent involve saving everything? I have been doing entire just to be safe but have accidently ended up with two projects with similar names in one folder and cant tell which is the most current! (was just a eq session)

I save all seq, sounds and projects, then entire memory

I think its shift+left arrow brah. (pretty sure, mine is in the box at the moment)

i just do what you do m8 save entire memory but make sure replace same files is on
and create new folder is off

My old mpc1000 had some killa bug that used to lose samples into the abyss, so yeh I paranoid about saving these days to. The 5000 seems pretty stable so far... Save Entire memory is doing the trick...touch wood
