The built in Sounds in the MPC 5000

How many sounds does the mpc5000 come with? It says it has a built in synthesizer or somethin. Does it have Bass sounds? synths? what about like pianos and guiars, etc..


How are these sounds? Can we start a discussion on this feature please

Also does it come with drums kits like 808s and other hip hop kits

Yes it comes with all you asked about. Just go to disk and go thru your ROM Flash

The sounds included are tuned and a good signal source. They have 808 and 909 as well as various other kits. The included synth programs are good templates for people new to synth programing. my thoughts are the included sounds are better used as a signal reference, For thoes without a spl meter or access to a studio to make a reference track. I kinda want to make a reference track at -14db and link it on the site for members to use as a cross reference when setting levels and tunning. But thats what the included sounds could be used for. At home or in the studio it always sounds different. With a reference track or reference wavs you know what it should be when setting levels and tunning. The included sounds are a great reference source.
