Removing the low freq ?

What's good fam. I often work with some samples that have some unwanted lows and basses. I can't figure out how to remove them using the 5000 ... I tried the PEQ 2 and PEQ 4-band equalizers but I didn't make it. I can only increase the lows using their Low Freq parameters. When the Gain knob and the Low Freq knobs are turned to 0 nothing affects to the sample. Do you know any other methods that should help ?

I run each out to it's on eq...if you do that just eq the lows out,but if you want to do it right in the 5K then do what Genoveze says HPF...in effects set the HP Filter Sweep up and there you go
