My MPC 5000 it is reseting after unexpected time

Hello,
I have following problem with my mpc.When I turn on my mpc it is reseting
after unexpected time.Sometimes after 20minutes sometimes after 5minutes.
After reseting I loose my project and machine
automaticly reboot.Machine is already out of warranty.Can you please advise
me somebody what can cause this problem.I appreciate any reply from you.Best regards.
I tryed another power supply, I tryed different room.

I had the same problem. It was a little ways out of warranty. I contacted Akai and that replaced. It took about one and a half to two months to get the replacement.

I recommend that you contact Akai and tell them that you got a dud and that you need it replaced.

It could be something as simple as bad soldering or a bad connector on the power supply - internally that is. First thing I would do is open 'r up and follow the current path, and make sure everything fits snugly and soldering points are pristine. If not, dive in there and fix it. Losing the current for a short time explains your situation quite well.
