Playing back samples?

Im having an problem playing back samples I added to my 5k via USB
The kit contains snd drum samples I picked up awhile ago from mpc samples,anyway
Basically I autoload them into a program but most of them won't play I might get 1 or 2 out of 10 samples that I can use. I had no problem using them when I had a 4 k

Anybody here have problems playing back there own samples from the HD??
Seems all factory kits are working fine so I don't think it's a problem with the pads or sensors ?

When you sample it doesn't go to the HD it is stored in RAM.

ok but these kits are from my external hd im loading to the 5k but some sounds wont play or i cant hear anysounds on track 1 but they will play on 2?
im trying to figure out if its my mpc or os bug cause i re ently had to exchange my b stock mpc 5k for a brand new one
the b-stock was giving me a error message about voice engine!!

Are the samples 16bit or 24bit?

prob 24bit im guessing since they came from a 4k
is there a good program for changing them to 16bit ??
