help with upgrading please...

i recently purchased a used mpc 5000..
i´m trying to upgrade up to 2.0...but i´m having problems...
the reference manual and a similar problem is this forum didnt worked for me...


i mounted the MPC to my computer via USB
and copied the MPC5000_OS.bin (about 4 MB file uncompressed) without problems but when pressing 2 and 3 buttons and power back on i had a display information " invalid filesystem on CF card"

i have a 2 GB CF card ...now is running the 1.2 version

Have you re-formatted the card in your MPC first? Sometimes hidden files from your computer can cause issues.

yes...
i did have re-formattd the CF card in the mpc and also reinitialized the factory preset settings

i bought a new CF card and everything worked !
