Midi thru

I'm starting to sequence everything in the MPC instead of sequencing drums etc. in the MPC and VST's in the DAW(Cubase 5).

I have a Microkontrol connected to my MPC(=master) which is connected to my audiocard(ADAT, MIDI). When I use my keyboard all of the VST instruments are played simultanously. They are assigned to a MIDI channel and the tracks in my MPC also assigned to a MIDi channel.

What am I overlooking here?

in Logic I had the same issue. i had to go into logic's midi set up and choose a setting called "Auto demix by channel if multitrack recording" or something to that affect. I'm certain there is something similar in Cubase that you need to set.

For the love of god I can't fix this sh!t! I give up. I grew up with Cubase, but it's time to let go.

In Ableton everything is so easy to route. I'm gonna switch soley to Live.

Solved it: Input Transformer.

Cubase and I are back together!
