Hi,
i have one question. Is there anybody who can tell me how to sync up MPC 5000 with Cubase 7 from the start?

1. How should i connect Mpc 5000 with my Tascam US-122L?
2. What are the preferences in Cubase to make?
3. What are the preferences in MPC 5000?

I tried so many times but it doesnt work the way i want.

SO Cubase don“t evenb show the MPC 5000 under Midi Devices!

I want to sync up these two wheter with MTC or MMC so that Cubase is the master and MPC 5000 the slave. When i start a song in Cubase the MPC should automatically have the same tempo and everything i play on the MPC should come as Midi directly in Cubase. I also want to use the MPC as a controller so that i can press play for example and Cubase starts playing too. I thing it is with Key command or remote control!

Yes i know there are many topics about this issue but there was not the right answer yet.

I would be very happy if theres someone who can halp me with that problem.

1. Midi out from tascam has to be plugged into midi in(1 or 2 your choice as follwing steps determines this choice)
2. On mpc5000 open the midi/ sync window... mode pad 8. press f2 which is sync..

3. goto to sync in and change it so its on your previous choice of midi port

4. set the mode to midi time code.

I cant remeber how to set it up in cubase though.. You mite have to goodle "how to setup cubase as midi timecode master"

Basically the mpc5000 wont show up as a device in cubase because it's going through the tascam midi port.. So your choice would be midi out tascam us122. ...
