Problem Burning Cds

Hey, I tried searching for an answer to this problem and have come up with nothing helpful. When i go to burn an audio cd and i choose the mixdowns of each track i've made, i get an error that its the wrong file type. can someone give me a detailed answer on how to correct this and burn cds? nothing in the manual helped

I am a nubee at using the 5000 but what do you mix down to? I know there are different formats such as 16/24 bit wav files. Will a 24 bit wav file burn to CD? When I mixdown, I mix to 16 bit and I have no problems burning to CD

I think that may have fixed the problem, but now I'm out of blank cds.....drat. thanks dude! anyone else chime in if that wasn't the issue
