MANUAL CROSSFADE LOOP ?

Has anybody accomplished this manually on an MPC5000? I am aware that the MPC4000 has the crossfade feature, but I figure that there has to be some sort of work around for the MPC5000. I am making a Keygroup out of a small looped synth sample. I've tried countless times to accomplish some sort of crossfade and I can get rid of the click, but my sample still has a noticeable start and end . It doesn't sound bad, just not good enough for me and I know crossfade loop would get my loop up to par. I've tried the fade ins and outs in the "EDIT" screen. Manipulated the ADSR and still haven't gotten it perfect. If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them.

P.S. If there's no work around, I have a maxed out (RAM and DVD) MPC5000 for sale.
