HI I understand the 3500 is essentially the same as the 5000.

Can the 3500 be upgraded to the latest MPC 5000 OS 2.0?

Cheers

the 3500 is the 5000 prototype. it's not an MPC that was actually released as you probably already know... very few of them exist so it's gonna be tough finding someone that has experience using one... having said that, i don't see why the OS couldn't be upgraded to the latest 5000 OS... but i can't confirm that.

The real question is why you don't use the option that says Buy-It-Now requires instant payment?

Prevents just this problem.

nah there's more of them..I had chance to pick one up for $100 and walked away from it as it probably neede few internals replaced...personally I would not consider 5000, or even 2500 se collectors item but each to their own.

I never n oticed that as an option when setting up things to sell on ebay. I will def look for it next time. (I noticed gthat the buyer just set up their ebay account yesterday, maybe to buy my 5k, as this is their first purchase.

I just got alert about 30 min ago that item was paid for, so I will be shipping my 5k off when I get off work...

Yes dude initially wanted more n said it was it good shape but it got stuck on boot screen. When I saw it, it had slight dent in the back where the ground screw is and all qlinks was wobbly as hell. I suspected most internals needed replacing

I think I would have spent that $100 just on general purpose Kon... used it for spare parts or used some spare parts to fix it... hell, just for a conversational piece lol
