HD tracks, mono or stereo

Hey!

I have only used the HD for recording mono tracks until yesterday when i tried to record a stereo track. The recording came out as a mono track. I assigned both left and right channel to Track 1.

So..are HD tracks only for mono recordings or did i do something wrong? The manual doesn´t say anything about it.

You were recording two channels into one track when you should be recording two channels to two tracks. Thats how stereo is recorded.

What Ill said... 8 mono tracks. U would have to assign left o track one, right to track 2

Ok, thanks! That´s what i suspected. Guess i´ll just sample from the main outs when i need a stereo track.
